Notes for THOMAS ZACHARY: Thomas Zachary was a merchant and citizen of London. He became a convert to Quakerism under the direct influence of William Penn, a personal friend. He acquired an estate near Jordon, in Buckingshire, where the Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly meetings of the Society of Friends were held. He married Rececca, daughter of Daniel Murford, a widow of Richard Yord, in February, 1665. Children of THOMAS ZACHARY and REBECCA MURFORD are: i. WINNIFRED ZACHARY, m. ABRAHAM BRABURS. ii.
