| Betty Zachary PINE BLUFF COMMERCIAL SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 1998 Pine Bluff, Jefferson Co., Arkansas BETTY HOWARD SHERIDAN -- Betty Wise Howard, 77, died February 7, 1998, at her home. Born April 25, 1920, at Oakley, Tennessee, she was a daughter of the late John Logan Zachary and Julia E. Wright Zachary. She was a retired retail sales clerk. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sheridan, the Fidelis Sunday School Class and the Prime Timers Senior Citizen Group. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Wise Sr.; a son, Donnie Wise, a daughter, Julia Wise; two brothers, Sid Zachary and Otha Zachary; and a sister, Peggy. Survivors include her husband, Willis D. Howard; three sons, Bill Wise of Anderson, Indiana, and Joe Wise and Gary Wise, both of Sheridan; three sisters, Addie Graham and Johnnie Parks of Anderson, Indiana, and Ruth Owens of Jamestown, Tennessee; II grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Buie Funeial Home of Sheridan with Ed Simpson officiating. Burial will be in Lost Creek Cemetery.
